FEBRUARY REVOLUTION
(1) Tsar Nicholas II was an Aristocrat. He carried the first world war against the wishes of the people and the involvement in World War 1 created deep crisis in Russia.
(2) In February 1917 food shortages were deeply felt in the workers quarters. workers in 50 factories called a strike in sympathy. In many factories women lead the way to strikes. The streets thronged the people raising slogans about bread wages better as and democracy.
