Answer:monsoon originates from bay of bengal. Explanation:In summer the rays from summer the sun fall perpendicularly on the northen hemisphere of the earth. The direct sun rays heat up the surface of the earth. Thus, the air near the earth's surface becomes hot and rises up. But the atmosphere above the sea is cold and its pressure is high. Hence, the moist air cointaining water vapour from the high pressure zone moves towards the low pressure zone in the form of wind. The wind at higher altitude becomes colder and condenses to form clouds. When these clouds come across the high mountains, they get cooled further and condense to form rainfall known as monsoon rainfall.
