Nephron is the structural as well as the functional unit of kidney. It includes a network of capillaries, called the Glomerulus which performs the filtering mechanism, mainly to filter-out the useful substances required by our body. To understand the whole mechanism, one must be thorough with the structure of a nephron.

Capillary beds surround the loop of Henle , the proximal and distal conlovuted tubules , As the filtrate flow through the nephron , elements of the blood are added to or removed from nephron . Generally , more elements get added into the nephron to be excreted then they get out of the nephron .
