1. On 11 september 1973 the military took over the seaport. The defence minister was arrested when he arrived at his office.
2. The militiary officers asked president allende to resign but allende refused to resign or leave his country. But realising the danger to his life and the country he addresed people on the radio to never forget democracy and fight for democracy.
4.Afterwards the military surrounded the presidents house and started bombing it. President allende died in the attack.
5. A govt. Elected by thepeople was overthrown by military through violence and conspiracy.
