Answer:
Two nationalist movements happened between 1919 AD to 1949 AD.
Those two Nationalist movements were the following:
- The Dandi March or Salt March was taken out by Mahatma Gandhi against unjust tax laws on salt imposed by the British. It was a 240 miles march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, to highlight the injustice through non-violent, civil disobedience.
- The Swadeshi Movement. Though it had its origin much before the above period, it culminated into a full-fledged Nationalist Movement was during this period. The movement exhorted people to use locally made Indian products, especially textiles, instead of British products. It immediately became part of the Indian freedom movement.
The mass movements in India during this period promoted a strong sense of nationalism between the people, though the movements did not yield any immediate results. But it did help in raising several key questions in the minds of the Indians regarding freedom and equality.
