Battle of Nadaun is the famous war that was waged by the Mughal rulers against Guru Gobind Singh and his allied hill rulers.
Raja Bhim Chand of Kahlur and many other hill chieftains refused to pay the annual tributes to the Mughals, leading to a clash.
They sought help of Guru Gobind Singh, who readily agreed.
Both armies met at Nadaun in 1691 and after a fierce battle, the Mughal army aided by the forces of Raja Kirpal and Raja Dayal of Bhijarwal fled away.
