when we take in food into our mouth digestion begins in mouth itself. mouth have tjree partscalled teeth , tongue, salivary glands . teeth helps chewing food , tongue mix with the saliva & salivary glands secretes saliva .Then the food goes into stomach & then to small intestine . Intestinal glands secretes intestinal juices. these juices helps in the brkdown of food into fatty acids .this was the pathway followed by fats & breakdown into fatty acids.

Firstly when the fat is injected in body in form of food it reaches to stomach where bile juice is being released by liver in stomach. It breaks the large fat molecules into small fat molecules and increase the efficiency of enzyme action .The small fat molecules reaches to small intestine where enzyme named lipase is released by pancrease which breaks the small fat molecules and convert it into fatty acid which further being gets absorbed in small intestine.
