Social: The clergy and nobility were the privileged class under the oppressive king of bourbon dynasty and all other people were the sufferers with limited rights and liberty.
The political condition was such under an autocratic dictatorship. Louis XVI was inefficient and oppressive and during his time, revolution took place.
The French peasants, commoners, the bourgeoisie were grieved under poverty and oppressive conditions.
Besides the grievance of the people, the writers and philosophers who sprang up during the age played a major role for the revolution to occur. They instilled in the minds of the people the courage and determination and prepared them for the revolution. The like were Rousseau, Voltaire etc.
In this scenario, the French revolution took place.
