we know that ,
alf + beta = -b/a = -2
alf*beta = c/a =1
therefore, alf^2*beta = alf*beta^2 = alf*beta(alf + beta) = -2*1 = -2
alf^2 *beta *alf*beta^2 =alf^3*beta^3 =(alf + beta)^3 -3alf*beta(alf + beta)
=-2^3 - 3*1*-2 = -2
therefore,
quadratic equation = x^2 - (alf^2*beta +alf*beta^2)x +(alf2*beta*alf*beta^2)
=x^2 - (-2)x + (-2) = x^2 + 2x -2
hence the ans is x^2 + 2x -2
