Why is the east rivers forward dealtas while the west flowing rivers join the sea through estuaries

I think that as majority of the rivers in the peninsular india originate in the western ghats, they either flow westwards or eastwards . the westward flowing rivers have a much shorter lenth to traverse to drain themselves into the arabian sea, so carry a less deposit / sediment with them and hence a delta can't be formed .

on the other hand eastward flowing rivers (eg. mahanadi , godavari etc.) travel a longer path way greater than their counterpart . so till they reach the eastern coast , they have eroded the eastern ghats nd are saturated with sediments . that is why they form deltas nd not estuaries on their mouths..
