We have to understand the Buoyant force which is upward force exerted by liquids is upward force exerted by liquid when
objects are placed in them. The reason for floating of object can be stated as buoyancy that is the upward force exerted by liquid.when density of an object is less than liquid it is placed, it floats on it.
