In all these aspects farmers are facing problems. But fortunately most of this problem can be solved by the mechanisation technology. Now the technology is available for every operation of the farming.
But adopting mechanisation technology is also lased with many problems. Most of the farmers cannot adopt the mechanisation because of less affordability. most of the farmers are having a very small agricultural holding. Also land size is constraint for manoeuvrability of the machines in the fields. Service points are far off and they have to take their equipment to far of places for service.
The private companies or government sources or partnership firms have to arrange machinery on lease to farmers. more services points are to be made available.government should encourage to farm farmers societies to purchase machinery or tools and provide to farmers on lease.
Irrigation
Irrigation is another major difficulty for farmers.

Right time of irrigation
No source of irrigation, If source is there insufficiency of irrigation are the constraints. Depleting ground water tables is another concern. NGOs government should make farmers aware of replenishing the groundwater.
Farmers should aware of saving water. there are many technologies available in saving technologies.
Another important thing in Irrigation is farmers should aware of critical periods of crop irrigation. Extension personnel should concentrate on making farmers understand the importance of critical periods of crop irrigation.
Fertilizer management
Farmers should get tested their field soils. they should aware of the fertility of their soils. suitability of the crops and fertilizer application plans. for fertiliser application also critical periods are there . Extension personnel should make farmers aware of this. Right fertilisers, right combination and right time is most important to get desired yields from their crops.
These are the most important problems of the Indian farmers. There are so many other problems. If all are enumerated here, the situation is diluted. At least, if important problems solved their situation improves.
