Crystallization is the process by which a solid forms, where the atoms or molecules are highly organized into a structure known as a crystal. Some of the ways by which crystals form are precipitating from a solution, freezing, or more rarely deposition directly from a gas.

Crystallisation is the process of formation of solids or crystals. These crystals are obtained from the solution in which the solid has been dissolved by various methods.

Mostly, Crystallisation is performed by the process of evaporation in which the solution of the solid substance is heated in an open container until the substances other than the solid substance in that solution are evaporated.

After the substances get evaporated we are left with a saturated solution which contains the maximum amount of the solid substance which is to be crystallized.

After the saturated solution starts to cool down the solid substance will start to form crystals and it then can be extracted out in the form of solid.

A very common example of crystallization is the extraction of Salt from seawater which is also through the process of evaporation.
