Tomato Chutney is the easiest recipe.
All you need :
Ripe Tomatoes - 250 Gms Diced
1 medium size Onion - finely chopped
Garlic 2–3 cloves ( Optional) - finely chopped
Mustard Seeds ( Rai )- 1/2 teaspoon (Optional)
Curry leaves
Red Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - a pinch
Oil
Salt as per taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method:
Heat Pan (Kadai) on low flame - add oil , once warm - add Mustard seeds & Curry leaves, saute for few seconds.
Add Onions and garlic - saute until raw smell disappears.
Now, add Tomatoes , Turmeric, Chili powder, Salt and saute .
Cover the pan until Half cooked - it will take 2 minutes .
Transfer to a Bowl and Garnish .
Ready to serve.
Enjoy your Chutney with - Rice Or Chapati .
Note : Some prefer without onion & Garlic as it may last for 2 weeks if refrigerated
