here is the process of woll production ✍️✍️
SHEARING- cut the wool off (a sheep or other animal), break off or cause to break off, owing to a structural strain.
Scouring-The process of washing of sheared skin with hair in tanks to remove any kind of dust, dirt or grease is called scouring.
Griding-The first process at the mill is sorting. The fleece is sorted into grades by individuals who have developed a keen sense of touch. They sort the fibers according to fineness, length, and color. Each wool product is made from a different type of fiber, and the sorter divides the fleece accordingly.
Dyeing-As the natural colur of fleece is white, brown or black the sheared wool is dyed in different colours.
Drying-In this process container of wool are put through rollers to squeeze out as much water as possible. Then the wool is weighed and packed into bells. The bales are transported to the mills where they are processed further.
