The constitution of India considers every individual equal. It states that every citizen has equal right before law. The citizen cannot be discriminated based on caste, religion, religious belief, place of birth. Every citizen will have equal rights to access the facilities provided by the government without any division.  Reservations were brought to help in establishing equality for the backward classes.
