Corrossion is a geomorphological term for the process of mechanical erosion of the earth's surface caused when materials are transported across it by running water, waves, glaciers, wind or gravitational movement downslope.

Corrosion:
when some metals are exposed to moisture ,acids etc.,they tarnish due to the formation of metal oxide on their surface,this process is called corrosion.
corrosion is the oxidative deterioration of a metal.
Rancidity:
when fats and oils are oxidized they become Rancid.their smell and taste change.
rancidity is an oxidation reaction.
