describe the relationship between increase in food production and food security

producing sufficient amount of food grains is an important requirement of food security. If a country is able to produce food grains ,for whole of its population, it would be considered as the first requirement. there is a direct relationship between food production and food security .if there is a more food production government Can procure more food grains and it can maintain more buffer stock. whenever government holds more food grains stock it can distribute that effectively to the poor people and it can maintain food security. even it can control the food grain prices effectively in the open market
