In feb 1930 , HO CHI MINH established the Vietnamese Communist ( Vietnam Cong San Dong ) PARTY later renamed the INDO-CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY but in 1940 when japan occupied Vietnam to control Southeast Asia the problems of Vietnamese nationalists aggravated . Now they had to fight against japanese as well as french .
