All compounds should be recycled in Earth after their usage. Biological microbes play the most important part in breaking down every compound into their original form. But, polythene and plastic bags, exepctionally, are "non-biodegradable", which means that they cannot be acted upon by the microbes easily, so that the elements present in them can be sent back to the atmosphere again. They have no destiny. Yes, they are dumped anywhere in the environment, as a result of which a huge number of marine animals, like fishes, and even terrestrial animals, like cows, face death on accidentally consuming these products. Plastic compounds, as you know, are highly toxic.

The process of making , storing , disposing of and being around plastic can be extremely harmful to living beings.

Plastic is made from toxic compounds known to cause illness, because it is meant for durability . It is not biodegradable.

Effects of plastic pollution:-
1- It upsets the food chain.
2- It affect groundwater.
3-It lead to air pollution and land pollution also.
4-It is poisonous .
5-It can kill animals if mistakenly they eat it.

So, government banned plastics.
