Describe the role of the fallopian tubes in the female reproductive system

fallopian tube connect ovary to uterus it is the place where fertilization takes place at ampullary- isthmic junction. it is divided into three parts the part towards the ovary is infundibulum , middle is  ampulla and towards uterus is isthmus. it is connected to ovaries with finger like projections called fimbriae . there are two fallopian tubes in female reproductive system.

fallopian tube is a part of female reproductive system. It is also called oviduct. It is a place where the egg fuses with sperm and travel to uterus where further development takes place.
