During Civil Disobedience Movement, Gandhi ji started Salt Satyagraha on 12 March 1930. He left the Sabarmati Ashram and after 25 days and covering a distance of 385 km he reached a village called Dandi on 6 April 1930. Here Gandhi protested against the Salt law of British Government
