It was only early evening as the sun is starting slowly dipping down the dark line of horizon. Blood oozed out of a motionless and lifeless body. The stationary structure which seemed like a statue lay still flat on the rough concrete road. There was no signs of life in him and his fragile heart had stopped functioning yet his eyes were filled with vengeance and hatred and seemed to be around so as to hunt down that reckless driver who took his precious life away from him. The strong stench of the fresh blood seeped into one's nose, signalling that accident has just happened. Thick, concentrated and chilli like fresh blood mixed with the pouring rainwater to form a pit of horrifying picture. Cruel yet disheartened passer-bys pass through without lending a helping hand and the horrified and shocked feeling that they experienced can be depicted by the dismayed and disgusted look on their pale face. The siren of the ambulance whizzed down the road as paramedics alighted. One of them put his perfectly calm and still hand beside the sharp and pointy nose of the young man and he shook his head in dismay. Curious onlookers crowded around the scene while some inquired busy paramedics on the situation. Some place both their palms together as they bowed to the innocently perished young lad to send their condolences to him. A middle aged woman which seemed to be the victim's mother, dressed sloppily with a not ironed tee with unfixed hair and swollen eyes cried painfully in agony as she kneeled down in front of her son. "Please! You.. can't leave.... me! Come back... please!" she stumbled out with tears as she begged for the return of his beloved son whom she lavished every care on. Surprisingly, a tough, burly and stern looking middle age man with steaks of greyish hair and teary eyes weeped silently and tried to hide his sorrows by back-facing the crowd. Tears trickled down his rough and slightly wrinkled cheeks as he shook his oversized head miserably. Serious looking police officers were seen taking down notes as they questioned some on- lookers. The victim was placed on a stretcher as strong and paramedics with visible and bulging muscles lifted him up onto the ambulance with ease. Once curious crowd now lost their interest as the tension now subsided as they scattered freely in different directions. This unexpected incident inflicted a great deal and unbearable amount of pain onto the frail mother and the tough father as they sobbed in devastation for their twenty plus years old son whom they deeply cared for. An evening had passed as the sun completely edged completely down the horizon as the moon rose up to the pitch dark sky as it shone brightly with the stars.
