The second battle is between Beowulf and Grendel's mother. Grendel's mother is very masculine figure. When she attacked men in the mead hall, she showed no sign of logic but showed aggressiveness that much of like a warrior. Grendel's mother attacked the mead hall to take a revenge on the death of her son, Grendel.
