describe the separation of Salt from sand

shonakhan55: Evaporating is separating two substances. In this lab, you would add the water so that thesalt dissolves. Then once you filter the saltwater, you would heat the solution to evaporate the water, leaving behind the salt. ... Sand does not dissolve in water, but the salt doesn't

  1. the separation of salt from sand can be done as
  2. first mix this mixture with water we observe that salt dissolves
  3. now separate the salt water from sand through sedimentation process
  4. now heat the mixture of salt and water
  5. water gets evaporated and u obtain salt
