Describe the sequence of the events that leads the development of 3 cell Pollen in gain from microspore Mother cell in angiosperm

Answer:

1) cells of Sporogenus tissues modifies and developes into microspore mother cells.

2) Microspore mother cell getst nutrients from tissue and divides meotically into four microspores.

3) Microspore gets nutrition from tapetum and developes into pollen grain.

4) Mitosis in pollen grain results in formation of one large vegetative cell and one small generative cell floating in cytoplasm of vegetative cell.

5) This stage of pollen grain is called 2- celled stage with one vegetative and one generative cell.

6) Generative cell undergo mitosis to form two male gametes, out of which one fuses with secondary nucleus to form endosperm and other fuses with egg to produce embryo.

7) This stage of pollen grain is called 3 - celled stage.
