They were small.They had tangled,brown hair falling on their shabby faces.Their appearance was shabby yet their smiles were engaging.One had worn cut of khaki pants and a jersey.Other had worn an army tunic which gathered at the bottom in loosened folds.They had brown skins.They were guile,artless,naive.They were lively as a squirrel.But beyond their naivety was seriousness which was way beyond their age.The author was impressed by their willingness to work
