Condition of France before the French Revolution

(ii) Fiancé was a centralised monarchy. People had no share in decision making.

(iii) Administration was disorganised, corrupt and inefficient. The defective system of tax collection, whereby the burden was borne by the Third Estate was oppressive and created discontent.

Answer:

The condition of France was very poor before the revolution took place as the population was divided on the basses of estates . the diffrent divisions were -

1)the clergy - they enjoyed the privilege by birth and did not give the taxes .

2)nobility - they also enjoyed birth privileges as well as fudal privileges , they also didn't have to pay taxes.

3) the third estate (the regular man) - they composed nearly 80% of the population and gave all the taxes .

The french king at the time of the revolution king Louis XVI also raised the taxes and prices of grains to mentain the treasury because of this act many people died from starvation.
