The France society was divided into three estate that were - clergy, nobility, and 3rd estate..

1. Clergy consisted of high priests and they did not have to pay taxes.

2. Nobility consisted of Ministers and people who were very rich and wealthy and even they don't have to pay taxes.

3. the third estate consisted of peasants, landless labourers, sharecropper, servants etc. they all had to pay taxes.
