Nephrolepis Plant

Explanation:

  1. Nephrolepis is a family of around 30 types of plants. It is the main variety in the family Nephrolepidaceae, set in the suborder Aspleniineae (Eupolypods ) of the request Polypodiales in the Pteridophyte .
  2. Nephrolepis (Nephros, kidney, lepis, the indusium kidney-formed and scale like) is spoken to by around 30 species.The develop plant body is sporophytic and can be separated into rhizome, roots and leaves.  
  3. Rhizome: It is short, thin, suberect,erect, It bears a nearby tuft of leaves and long, slim parallel branches called sprinters. The sprinters spread for a significant separation and bear roots.  
  4. Roots: Branched extrinsic roots emerge from the rhizome and sprinters in aeropetal progression.  
  5. Leaves: Leaves are tufted, long, limited and just pinnate. Steple is 2.5 to 10 cm long .
  6. Cordifolia and upto 20 cm long . acuta. Frondsare 30 cm to 240 cm long (N. acuta),  Pinnae are various, swarmed, frequently imbricated, 3 cm long (N. cordifolia) to 20 cm long (N. acuta), marginally falcate and enunciated at the base.Margins are whole or somewhat crenate.
  7. The veins are free and there are available white line dabs over the vein tips. Sori are available on the lower surface.
