Cell wall
Rigid
Made up of cellulose
gives rigidity to plants
Goes through plasmolysis and deplasmolysis

Cell membrane
Elastic
Porous
Helps in osmosis
Acts as SPM

Cell wall..
Cell wall is mainly found in plants. The plant cell wall is mainly composed of cellulose, however neligible amount of other molecules are also present like pectin cellular , hemicelluloses, lipid, protein etc.
plant cell wall is composed of middle lamella primary and secondary wall.
Middle Lamella - thin, amorphous, intercellular Matrix lies in between two plant cells is called middle lamella it is rich in calcium and magnesium pectate.
Primary wall - first formed through true cell wall which lies innner to middle lamella is called primary wall.
Secondary wall - it is thick, non elastic , additional cell wall which is deposited in a two primary cell wall in some plants cells.

functions of cell wall..
cell wall maintains the shape of the plant cell
it provides perfect rigidity to the plant cell due to deposition of Lignin
cell wall provides complete protection to the Protoplasm against mechanical injuries..

Cell membrane _

all the existing cells are limited by a covering called cell membrane
it is a major feature of for cell membrane.
it is a major feature of cell wall.
c.Nageli and C.Cramer they coined the term cell membrane.

cell membrane is composed of phospholipid arranged in bilayer 1 pole head of phoshate toward the outer side and two non polar tails of hydrocarvon toward the immer side . proteins are also present and classified as stragel..

functions of cell membrane.

it plays of compartmentalization of the cytoplasm of the cell

cell membrane protects the internal environment of the cell from Mechanical injury
it provides specific safe to the cell and cell organelles.
