ANSWER :

The reproductive unit of the plant is the flower. The structure of flower consists of four whorls. These are -

1. Calyx

They are green in color. Individually, their members are termed as sepals. Sepals has the role to protect the bud.

2. Corolla

Their members are termed as petals. Calyx are of different bright colors to attract the insects towards itself for pollination.

3. Androecium

It is the male part of the flower. It has stamen which has two parts - anther and filament. They releases pollens which fertilizes the egg.

4. Gynoecium

It is the female region. It consists stigma, Style and Ovary. Egg is present in the ovary.
