Describe the structure of heart in about 200 words

heart is made up of a special tissue called cardiac muscle tissue. heart is the main organ of circulatory system and is the most important organ in our body. the human heart is made up of 4 chambers - 2 auricles or atria and two ventricles. a fluid called a pericardial fluid which prevents us from sudden shocks caused to the heart. the right and left side of the heart is divided by septum which prevents the mixture of oxygenated and de oxygenated blood.

The heart is divided into four chambers consisting of two atria and two ventricles; the atria receive blood, while the ventricles pump blood. The right atrium receives blood from the superior and inferior vena cavas and the coronary sinus; blood then moves to the right ventricle where it is pumped to the lungs.
