Mitochondria: It is double membraned cell organell.
Outermost membrane is very pores and inner membrane is deeply folded. This fold help to increase surface area. The ATP(Adenosine Tri Phosphate) is the energy currency of the cell. Hence Mitochondria is kitchen of the cell. Mitochondria has their own DNA(De-oxyribo Nucleic Acid) and ribosomes therefore they can make their own food.
