solids ,liquids and gases are all made up of atoms , molecules and ions but the behaviors of these particals differ in the three phases , particals in a gas are well separated with no regular arrangement .liquid are close together with no regular arrangement.a liquid will flow to take the shape of its container .be compressed because the particals are close together . a gas has no order ,its particals are arranged at random .
