\huge\mathcal{\purple{answer}}

The weight of an object is the force acting on the object due to gravity .

In easy form we can say

Weight =mass of object + gravitational force acting on it.

When we go far from the earth the gravitational force of earth is decrease . If gravitational force decreases than the weight of object is also decreases.

The gravitational force of moon is very less so astronomers fly easily on the moon surface.
