kharif crop (rainy crop)
zaid crop( crop between winter and rainy season)

Three cropping seasons :-

1) Rabi = sown in the winters and harvested in summers

2) Kharif = sown with the onset of monsoon and harvested in September to October

3) Zaid = A short cropping season between the Rabi and Kharif season
