In the poem 'the road not taken' , poet finds two roads, among them the first was simple and peoples were going through it. and the another road was looking bit adventures because it was greeny and no footsteps were there. It made poet bit conscious so he choosed the second one.

Answer:
On his way, the poet found two roads. The first road was a beaten track and it appeared that many people had walked on it. It was lost in the small shrubs. While the other road was grassy and unspoiled and its appears to the poet as if it has been left undisturbed from a long time.
the speaker selects the road that appears at first glance to be less worn, less traveled and therefore, “wanted wear”. This selection suggests that he has an independent spirit and does not wish to follow the crowd.
