Hydrogen bonding is a type of van der waals kind of interaction. It is divided in to-
•intramolecular hydrogen bonding - The type of H bonding existing with in a molecule. Eg: ortho-nitro phenol.
•intermolecular hydrogen bonding - hydrogrn bonding existing between 2 or more molecules. Eg: water.

✨Types of hydrogen bonding⤵
⏩Intermolecular hydrogen bonding=> This type of bonding results between the positive and negative ends of different molecules of the same or different substances.
Examples: Hydrofluoric acid, ammonia, water, formic acid and p-chlorophenol
⏩Intramolecular hydrogen bonding=> This type of bonding results between hydrogen and an electronegative element, both present in same molecule. This type of bonding is generally present in organic compounds. Due to ring formation it is called chelate hydrogen bond.
Examples: o-chlorophenol, o-nitrophenol, o-hydroxybenzoic acid,etc
Hope it helps☑
