static, sliding, rolling, and fluid friction. Static, sliding, and rolling friction occur between solid surfaces. Static frictionis strongest, followed by slidingfriction, and then rolling friction, which is weakest. Fluid friction occurs in fluids, which are liquids or gases.

⭐ There are three types of friction namely :
✔ Static Friction : The opposing force that comes into play when one surface tends to move over the other surface but the actual motion has not been started yet is called static friction.
✔ Rolling Friction : The opposing force that comes into play when one body is actually rolling over the surface of another body is called rolling friction.
✔ Sliding Friction : The opposing force that comes into play when one body us actually sliding over the surface of another body is called sliding friction.
