1. election commission enjoys the same power that our judiciary enjoys.

2. ec is appointed by p.m but once appointment he is not answerable to the p.m

3. he implements the code of conduct and any party violate he has the power to punish it.

4. it is impossible to remove EC. after appointment.

5. on election duty govt. officials work under EC not the goverment .
