Describe the working of thermal power plant?

when water is heated by the burning of fuel(coal). water convert into high pressured steam that spin the turbines which derives an electric generator
,then steam get cool and turn into water .and then again that water go , where it was heated.

Thermal Power Plant,

Thermal power plant is used to produce energy from coal, petroleum or other fossil fuels.

The term thermal is used because heat is used to produce heat energy.

The thermal power plant mainly consists of form parts namely :
(1) Coal handling plant
(2) Boiler
(3) Turbine
and (4) Generator

(1) Coal handling part includes the derivation of coal or petroleum.

(2)Boiler is the part where coal is burnt and steam is produced for power generation.

(3)The heated steam is brought it the turbine to produce electrical energy.

(4)The generator is directly linked with the turbine and here electricity is generated and served.
