Thomson suggested that all positive charges of the atom is uniformly spread to an area of radius 10 to the power -10 metre and negative electrons are scattered into it. This model is called plum pudding, raising Pudding or watermelon. According to Thomson model ;-(1) size of atom. (2) explains electrical neutrality of atoms.
