Three plants that are present in our village are:
1. Aloe Vera
Appearance: It is a very short plant which may have a short stem or maybe a stemless plant.
Height: This plant grows to 60-100 cm.
Color: Green or grey-green in color.
Leaves: The leaves are very thick as well as fleshy. Small white teeth like appearance is present on the margin of the leaves.
Uses: Aloe vera has soothing, cooling and moisturizing effects. It helps in healing burns and also cures acne. It helps in improving digestion and oral health.
2. Tulsi
Appearance: It is a bushy kind of shrub and has hairy stem.
Height: The plant grows like about 18 inches.
Color: The color varies from green to darkish purple.
Leaves: The leaves are oval in shape and has serrated edges.
Uses: It helps in keeping our heart healthy. It has anti-ageing properties. Also, helps in removing kidney stones.
3. Neem
Appearance: This plant grows very fast.
Height: The height of the plant is about 45 metres.
Leaves: The size of the leaves may vary from small to medium size. It is elongated or oblong in shape. Length of the leaves may be about 20 to 40 cm.
Uses: The leaves of neem helps in treating disorders of eye, leprosy, stomach problem, diabetes, etc.
