  • Measure of AC is 16 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • Angle B is right angle.
  • Angle C of ∆ABC is 30°.
  • AB of ∆ABC is 8 cm.

To find:-

  • Measure of AC.

Solution:-

  • By using trigonometric ratio's .That is :

 \sf \star \: sin \: 30\degree = \cfrac{1}{2} --------(i)

 \sf \star \: sin \: \theta = \cfrac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse} --------(ii)

So,

By equation (i) and (ii)

 \longrightarrow \sf  sin 30\degree = \cfrac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

  • Sin 30° = 1/2.

 \longrightarrow \sf \cfrac{1}{2} = \cfrac{AB}{AC}

  • AB = 8 cm.

 \longrightarrow \sf \cfrac{1}{2} = \cfrac{8}{AC}

  • Cross multiply

 \longrightarrow \sf  AC = 8 \times 2

 \longrightarrow \sf  AC = 16

Therefore,

AC is 16 cm.
