Toto enjoyed having a nice and warm bath during the winters. Before getting into the tub, he would test the temperature by putting a toe in the water, just like human beings.

Once, a pot of hot water was boiling on the stove. Toto found it warm and big enough to fit in. He had gotten quite comfortable before he almost burnt himself and my grandmother took him out of the pot in time.
