1. The typical 9-5 work setting- Here you are given a particular work which you need to complete and you get a fixed salary and fixed holidays every month. You can't question your boss, instead, you just need to follow the rules and work accordingly.

Example: A bank officer.

2. The research-based work setting- Here, there are no fixed timings, no fixed work hours, though the stipend is mostly fixed. You work at your own ease, there are no such daily targets, however, you need to get the results of your experiments and try to achieve your goal as soon as possible.

Example: A research associate.
