In human kidneys

blood when goes into the bowman's capsule it goes in the name of afferent artiole having larger diameter to the efferent artiole having smaller diameter ,

due to passage of blood from higher diameter to smaller diameter, blood pressure increases tremendously

and thus all the different substances present in the blood gets sepreted out and thus the substance which remains is called glomeruler filtrate or ultrafiltrate or nephric filtrate.
