The Right to a Fair Trial means that people can be sure that processes will be fair and certain. ... The Right to a Fair Trial was at its heart: “Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of … any criminal charge against him.”

Answer:A “fair” trial just means that both sides have the ability to present what evidence they have that supports their view of the case to an impartial magistrate and a jury able and willing to find facts without fear or favor. If the trial court fails for any reason in that regard, the losing party may obtain an appellate review which can include a review of the evidence supporting the facts as found at the trial level. In short, it would require bribing/threatening a lot of people to distort the trial.
