Significant figures are the actual values that we use to answer. ... Also, we count the digits of the number starting from first non-zero digit , in the case of significant figures. Order of magnitude, on the other hand, is an exponential change in the power of 10 in the value of a quantity

The figure which have some important but does not nessesary to denote which respect to time and space is known as significant figures.......

eg:- 175.55 , there are five significant digits which are 1,7,5,5,&5 hence there are 5 significant figures.....

The power of ten is called as order of magnitude ....

eg :- 10*3 then 3 is the order of magnitude........
